Self-referral services

There are many services which accept direct self-referral. This means you can sign yourself up directly, without needing to speak to your GP first. Specific services in our local area are available in this way, which make it easier for you to access the support you need.

If you think you or someone you know needs help or support from Social Services, you can request an assessment from your local borough. If you live in Hammersmith and Fulham, please see here. For other areas, you can find details of your local borough here.
If you live in England and are aged 18 or over, you can access NHS talking therapies services for anxiety and depression. NHS talking therapies services offer talking therapies, such as cognitive behavioural therapy (CBT), counselling, other therapies, and guided self-help.
