GP at Hand is proud to have been accredited as an Armed Forces Veteran friendly GP practice.
Being accredited by the Royal College of General Practitioners means we can better identify veterans within our community and collect data we can use to improve future health provision.
As a Veteran friendly practice we:
- Have a team of dedicated Veteran Health clinicians
- Recognise the importance of identifying veteran patients within our community
- Understand the unique health needs that veterans may be experiencing
- Strive to provide veterans with the very best care and support
- Have knowledge about the specialist veteran healthcare services that exist
- Undertake regular training and development to ensure we’re able to deliver the very best care to veterans in our community
If you are a veteran patient, please let us know that you have served so that we can make sure we understand your health needs and ensure you are getting the best possible care.
